The work in Ashfield is going well, we are pleased to give a good report of all the wonderful things that are happening in the work of the Chaplaincy.
We are seeing breakthrough in the lad's lives and we are seeing many lads making Christian Commitments.
There are many hundreds of churches networked within Elim. They range from small groups recently launched to the 3,000 strong Metropolitan church in Belfast and the 17,000 strong Kensington Temple in London.Our emphasis however is not only on growing larger churches but on building bigger people - people who have a heart to fulfil their God-given destiny and rise to the level of His plan and purpose for their life.
Angie Lendon is a worship leader from Hull.
As a songwriter she has had songs included on various compilations, the most recent being Re-leased, an innovative project of grass roots writers from various churches produced by Chris Bowater. The worship journey started in a small congregation in the Yorkshire Wolds and has provided opportunity to lead in many other venues and situations. This has included leading worship at Grapevine's youth venue “synergy”, providing backing vocals for Godfrey Birtle at “The Call” and a wide variety of local events in Hull ranging from outreach concerts in Queens Gardens to youth events such as Pure. Her debut album “Honesty” is a collection of songs written from walking the road of faith in Jesus and sharing her experiences and observations.
