My dear Fellowship

We are all aware of the significance of the beginning of a new year.  We close the previous year with all its joys and sorrows and we look ahead with the hope of good things.  As those who belong to Christ we approach such an occasion in a different way from those who do not know the Lord.

WE CAN APPROACH 2012 WITH A SENSE OF PURPOSE

God’s will and purpose is what makes the difference for us.  We will not walk through 2012 with aimlessness or apathy. We arise with faith, hope and assurance knowing that God will keep us in His will.  Romans 12 v 2 states that God’s will is good, pleasing and perfect.

WE CAN APPROACH 2012 WITH A SENSE OF GOOD THINGS

While we understand that living the Christian life is not easy and we face the same mountains and problems others face, Romans 8 v 28 tells us ‘that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose’.  

WE CAN APPROACH 2012 WITH A SENSE OF COMMITMENT

Some will recall a chorus from years ago entitled; ‘I want to serve the purpose of God in my generation’. We must rise to the challenge as a Fellowship and as individuals this year to reach those who need Jesus.  Please pray that 2012 will be the year we all reach someone for the Lord.  1 Corinthians 9 v 22: …. ‘by all possible means I might win some’.

Finally, Miriam and I are proud of you all for your faithfulness and service to the Lord and the vision of our Fellowship.  Let’s keep going together!
