‘We must embrace our new day together.

Acts 2 v 42-47: These verses have been quickened to me for this next season in the life of GateWay.

1) Activity of God's people

It was specific activity that brought Kingdom results in the early Church. It is not just a case of doing what we think is a good idea! They devoted themselves to Apostolic teaching and fellowship, to breaking of bread and prayer. This was a lifestyle not a Church programme. ‘Lord help us to live in this way.' Notice the following –

*They met every day *They met in homes *They ate meals together

2) Activity of God

God Himself was in the centre of everything. His manifest presence remained with them. A reverent fear because of the Holiness of God enveloped the whole Church and it is in this atmosphere of glory and faith that the miraculous is normal.

3) Activity in the world

The result of what happened in the Church and in the homes of Christians released increase. The Lord added those who were being saved. Hallelujah!

Right now there is a sense of awe and increasing reverent fear of God who is living and remaining among us. We have a responsibility to devote ourselves to a lifestyle of New Testament activity. God will do the rest. Let's embrace His great purpose with open arms.
