Our dear fellowship

As a fellowship we are witnessing ‘history in the making'. The vision that God spoke into our hearts is being unfolded before our very eyes. Things that only the Lord could do are taking shape as evidence to His faithfulness. We give God all the praise. Hallelujah!!!!

It is so important that we keep our eyes focussed on the right things.

We must keep our eyes upon Jesus.

The temptation for us as a fellowship now would be to focus on the building. We are fully able to rejoice in the provision and faithfulness of God in bringing us to this point without being distracted. We must keep our eyes on Jesus. (Heb 12 v 2)

We must keep our eyes upon the good things that are of God.

The temptation to look down at your problem will always be there. We are people who have learned to look up like Peter who stepped out of the boat with his eyes upon Jesus and walked above the storm. It was when he looked down at the water that he began to sink. In the spiritual realm there is a battle raging and we are involved in the war of the kingdoms. The devil is crafty and we must be aware of his tactics. Don't let your eyes slip down on to things that are not good to focus upon. Keep your mind on the good things that are of God.

We must keep our eyes on the vision before us.

God knows exactly where He is taking us and His heart's desire is that we arrive there together. If you have set off on this exciting journey then don't allow anything to cause you to sink. Whilst the plans of God can never be shipwrecked, it is possible for us to be distracted and therefore hinder progress. Let us keep persevering together. God has planted you in GateWay for a purpose, so go ahead and complete it and we will share in the joy of seeing the vision come to pass.

Keep rejoicing, we are witnessing miracles.
