God has already deposited in you ‘everything you need for life and godliness'. May you live in His knowledge, calling, glory and goodness by the power of the Spirit. Our journey is the most exciting road we can travel and will bring us to our destination. Our destination is to be like Jesus. Lord may we willingly walk your pathway in life.

The journey

It is by no means enough to set out cheerfully with God on any venture of faith. You must tear into the smallest pieces any itinerary for the journey which your imagination may have drawn up, because nothing will be as you expect. Your guide (the Holy Spirit) will keep to no beaten path. He will lead you by a way you never dreamed your eyes would see.

He knows no fear and expects you to fear nothing, because He has said, ‘I will never leave you or forsake you' (Heb. 13 v 5).

A true walk with God will do more to awaken awe, wonder and amazement in your soul than a century of travel to the most exotic places on earth. Difficulty is the very atmosphere of miracle: it is miracle in its first stage. If it is to be the greatest miracle the condition is not difficult, but impossible.

To take you by the way you know would profit you little. He chooses for you a way unknown so that you may learn to be absolutely dependent on Him. And that will make the journey forever memorable to Him and to you.
