My dear fellowship

February is said to be the most depressing month of the year. Christmas, with all the lights, parties, presents and excitement has long been over and even the New Year seems months ago already. As a Church, however, there is absolutely nothing to depress us and as Christians our lives and wellbeing are not dependant at all on what the world has to offer us at this time of year.

“‘For I know the plans I have for you', declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future'.” (Jer. 29 v 11). With those precious words in our hearts and minds there is nothing that should come against us to cause us any fear or unease.

God is moving so mightily and yet so gently among us all at the moment. I believe He is helping us to bond together in unity as never before, and I also believe that this is not only for our benefit but also because of the great things He has planned for us as GateWay Revival Church . The prophetic words that are being brought to Pastor Paul at this time as well as the powerful preaching being delivered Sunday after Sunday are, I really believe, all part of preparing us as a Church for something so awesome and amazing that will not only saturate and impact us but will also have a divine influence upon many people around this area who do not yet know the love of God.

Keep on praying and believing. Keep on getting to know each other – perhaps try to talk to someone different each week to build up friendships. Keep on being the wonderful and faithful people you already are. We love you and thank you for who and what you are. May God bless you richly.

Miriam
