Our dear fellowship

Nehemiah 1 v 9 says …..”I will gather them from there and bring them to the place I have chosen as a dwelling for my name.”

Building for today

The way we build our lives today will shape our tomorrow. The words that pre-empt the above promise are clear instructions from the Lord. “If you return to me and obey my commands then even if your exiled people are at the farthest horizon,” God will gather them to the place chosen as a dwelling place for His name. The promise, although given to Moses, is for those who are redeemed. May we return to the Lord with full assurance of faith to live in obedience to His commands.

Building for tomorrow

The way we build our lives tomorrow will shape our lives in eternity. Ephesians 5 v 15 says, “Be careful, then, how you live – not as unwise but as wise.” If we build upon sand then the house which is our life will collapse when the storms of life come, but if we build on the rock of the word of God then we will stand firm to the end.

Building for eternity

Every day can have an eternal significance for the kingdom of God . The only way this can happen is through submission to the purposes of God. We do not build for our own self gain or personal development. We build into our lives that which is truly eternal. The plans of man come to nothing. The eternal plans of God cannot fail. Let us not build with temporary things, but with eternal lasting material upon the foundation of Christ.

This is our day to build for the kingdom.
