Our dear fellowship

Psalm 125 v 1 & 2

“Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion , which cannot be shaken but endures for ever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem , so the Lord surrounds His people both now and evermore.”

What strength we can draw from knowing God is surrounding us with Himself now and for evermore. His promise is that He will ‘never leave us or forsake us'. In a time when the Christian heritage in our nation is being undermined and high places to false gods are being raised up we can be at peace knowing that God still surrounds His people and that His purpose will be done.

We must pray for the young people in our generation

Most of you will be aware of the spiritual battle that is taking place in our universities. In some of them permission for Christian Unions to hold meetings on campus has been withdrawn because they are viewed as ‘anti-gay' whilst Islamic militants are given opportunity to recruit for their cause. At this time we must remember it is not a hatred of the people of other faiths we promote. We are called to love everyone regardless of religion and culture, but we do recognise there is an anti-Christ attitude growing in this nation. Please pray for the young people in our land that they would be protected and stand for righteousness.

We must stand for truth in our generation

The message we preach is one of no compromise. We are called to live as Christians and preach the true message of the Bible. Be assured that what you will hear Sunday after Sunday in this Fellowship is sound preaching from the Word of God. The Bible must be that which shapes our lives and be the pattern by which we operate as a Church.

Thank you for all your faithfulness
