Our dear fellowship

The word says, “there is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven.”

This is our time and we must make it count for the kingdom of God . They say the older you get the quicker time appears to pass. We all use the term, “doesn't time fly”. It certainly appears to. It is hard to believe that we are well into spring and fast moving towards summer. Within a matter of months we shall move into our new complex which will herald in a whole new season of opportunity.

Time is an opportunity from God. Let's make it count.

How we use our time determines what we achieve in life. Some people have big dreams but fail to achieve because they lack the capacity to deal with their time well. I believe God would want us to structure and balance our time ensuring we devote quality time to the purpose of God. Time we dedicate to the work of God is invested in eternity.

Time can be wasted or lost. If you don't use it, you lose it.

As a fellowship we are moving into a time when we need commitment at a new level. Over the next few months we will be preparing teams to function in various ways and asking people to take up various roles within the new building. What worked before won't necessarily work now. A prime example of this would be the fact that we will have to steward two floors instead of one. We are going to need your time. I hope you will respond positively in order to help us.

Time to seek the Lord.

Above all the most important thing we can do with our time is to seek the Lord. What we do for the Lord in service is always secondary when compared to seeking Christ personally. What we do with our time will be determined by how close we are to the Lord. When we occupy the new building our priority remains the same. We must keep seeking more of God and less of us.

Have a great month and make your time count.
