Martin was ordained at the Elim Conference on the 25th April 2005, this was the culmination of years of study and service. A number of the church members made the trip to conference to celebrate this occasion with Martin and Sally. Special visitors included Martin's Mum and Dad and Sally's Mum. Martin had to give a minutes speech before repeating the oath and being prayed for. In Martin's speech he thanked his Mum, Dad and Mother-in-law for all their support. He also gave special thanks to Rev. Paul and Miriam James and the body at GateWay Revival Church.
